Students who wish to begin second semester in our virtual program will need to let the school know by January 5th. Parents will need to complete and submit the VLA Enrollment Form paying close attention to the assurances.

The Demopolis City School System is opening the second window for virtual students to transition back to on-campus learning. Parents who are interested in this transition must complete the Re-entry form and submit it to the applicable school(s) by Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Re-entry forms can be located at https://www.dcsedu.com/ under Latest News, at any school, or at the Board of Education.
The Demopolis City School System will host a Virtual Public Hearing on Policy 7.19 (Uniform Administrative Requirements) on Thursday, August 27th at 10:00 AM.

Demopolis City School System still wants to provide food and nutrition to our students even during this time while school is closed, so we’re announcing a new program that will deliver meals at your doorstep for free. This program is called Meals-to-You, and it is a partnership between our district, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Baylor University. Your student(s) enrolled in the Demopolis City School System are eligible to participate in the program.
All you have to do is fill out an online sign-up form and submit it as soon as possible! Access the online form by clicking this link: https://mealstoyou.org/emergency-meals-to-you-application/. Boxes will be provided on a first come, first served basis, so sign up online today! Let Meals-to-You take away the stress of buying extra groceries during this time.
